Dr Brendan O’Flynn

Brendan’s activities have achieved a balance between academic research excellence (journals and conferences) and the delivery of high impact commercial outputs in the form of technology and people-transfer to Irish industry, enabling sustainability and growth in Irish start-ups, SMEs and multinationals. Since 2009, Brendan’s team has consistently licensed IP to industry in Ireland, USA and China accounting for over 20% of all UCC licenses in this period, the highest for any one team across the whole UCC campus.
