Andrew O'Riordan

Andrew is a PhD researcher with CONFIRM. The project Andrew is undertaking; “Smart Control in manufacturing/Industry 4.0 using Advanced Robotic Capabilities” involves the development of advanced robotic control technologies for blended robotic cobots, resident robotics, smart production and distributed sensors.

Andrew began his education in Engineering in Limerick Institute of Technology, where he graduated B.Eng Mechanical Engineering with first class honours, winning an “Award for Excellence”. His thesis focused on smart asset management for a critical site.
