Damian is a PhD researcher with Confirm. Damian’s project is focused on “The development of the ultrasonic welding process to develop hybrid joints”.
Damian began his education at the University of Limerick and graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Design and Manufacture. His thesis focused on the “Development of an automated storage and retrieval system for industrial warehousing”. He then spent 2 years working in the industry as a manufacturing engineer focusing on process design and optimisation. During that time, Damian also qualified with a Green Belt in Lean Management and Six Sigma process control.
