I am an Adjunct Lecturer, Research Fellow and Research Unit Leader of Reasoning, Querying, and IoT Data Analytics Unit at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics, National University of Ireland, Galway. My research interests include Semantic Web, Data Integration, Internet of Things (IoT), Linked Data, Federated Query Processing, Stream Query Processing and Optimal Query Processing over large scale distributed data sources. I am actively involved in various EU funded and industry-funded projects aimed at providing IoT enabled adaptive intelligence for smart applications and smart enterprise communication systems. I have authored over 50 research articles, including journal publications, conferences & workshops proceedings and posters/demos in renowned journals and international conferences. I am serving as a PC member of various journals, international conferences and workshops. I have also organized different tutorials and workshop at the various renowned conferences including the Web Conference, ISWC and ESWC. I am obtained my Ph.D. (with distinction) from Vienna University of Technology, Austria in 2011.

I am leading the unit for reasoning, querying and IoT data analytics at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics, NUI Galway. At this role, my responsibilities are;
• Lead a team of around 10 researchers working mainly on topics related to the integration of semantic technologies for Internet of Things and Data Analytics.
• Devise a research agenda aligned with the overall research strategy of the University.
• Attract funding from various research funding bodies including industrial fundings.
• Act as a principal investigator for secured research grants.
• Supervise PhD and Postgraduate students at NUI Galway.
• Regularly deliver lectures on different modules for MSc. Data Analytics and MA Digital Media Programme.
