James Coady

James is a PhD researcher with CONFIRM. James` project is focused on "The use and development of Advanced Robotic Capabilities in Smart Manufacturing/Industry 4.0".

James began his education in Limerick Institute of Technology, where he graduated in 2017 with a Bachelors of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, receiving a first class honours, while also receiving the 1st place award at the LIT Engineering Department Showcase for his FYP. He carried out his thesis on the 'Design and Customation of a Cleanroom using Building Information Modelling (BIM) Techniques'. James also worked with Arup as part of their Data Centre design team before making the decision to return to academia.
