The Qualifier Module for the Professional Doctorate in Engineering at the University of Limerick supported by CONFIRM is now open for applications!

The Professional Doctorate in Engineering ‘Principal Engineer’ Qualifier Module is now open for applications. This doctoral programme, supported by Confirm Smart Manufacturing, allows industry professionals who are highly skilled in their chosen careers to gain a doctoral qualification while solving a real industry problem for their organisation.

There are so many talented individuals across diverse disciplines in Irish Industry who solve major problems for their companies and transform their businesses. The Professional Doctorate programme allows these individuals to attain the title of ‘Principal Engineer’ and gain the recognition they deserve while implementing these innovations. This doctorate is open to many professions including engineering, business improvement, software, data analysis, AI and many more.

Apprenticeship funding cuts the cost of gaining this doctoral qualification by over 80% with annual fees of just €900 per annum for students whose organisations are willing to support them during their studies.
