” By making the manufacturing process faster, connected and, intelligent, my research may help to eliminate the product shortage issues in future world crises.”

Tell us a bit about your research...
I am working on building a simulation environment that enables the modelling and analysis of wireless communication services within a range of industrial use cases. Especially, I am trying to investigate the 5G modelling and performance evaluation in the smart manufacturing environment.
What did you study as an Undergraduate?
I completed my undergraduate from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology, Bangladesh. I obtained my bachelor degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
What made you decide to go into research?
From my childhood, I was fond of science, logic, and mathematics. I was always curious about how things worked. After my bachelor degree, I understood that research is the only way to go satisfy my curiosity.
What do you enjoy most about being a PhD Student or Post-Doc?
The things that I enjoyed most during my research career so far are exploring new things and gaining deep knowledge.
Could your research be used to combat any societal issues, such as those experienced during the COVID-19 Pandemic?
By making the manufacturing process faster, connected and, intelligent, my research may help to eliminate the product shortage issues in future world crises.
Do you have any advice for someone who is thinking about a career or research in STEM?
