As part of the Limerick Lifelong Learning Festival 2020, CONFIRM hosted a panel discussion centred around the societal impact of technological advancement.
The conversation was extremely interesting and touch on topics such as the definition of an “intelligent” machine, fake news & conspiracy theory as well as the how smart technologies can be of benefit to humanity.
The panel was made up of CONFIRM researchers as various stages of their careers and with a broad mix of research focuses leading to an extremely lively and interesting discussion;
